Description

Please send us the booking request at least 7 days in advance.
Kintsugi is an ancient Japanese mending technique which gives broken porcelain a new life. Traditionally, gold and various natural binders have been used for kintsugi. In today's conditions, kintsugi training is carried out using more modern materials - broken porcelain (as well as glass) is repaired with a two-component glue mixed with gold powder. That is why we call it the new kintsugi. Those coming to the workshop are asked to bring broken dishes, preferably more than one. Since the activity is time-consuming, it is reasonable to repair two dishes in parallel. There are also porcelain and glass shards available on site.
Once you complete the workshop, you will get to know the specifics of the materials and can continue with kintsugi independently.
The price of the training includes the following:
– All tools and materials for practicing new kintsugi
– Aprons
– Coffee and tea
