You had a change of plans and cannot make it to your event at the planned date and time?

No worries! You can reschedule the date and time of your event (or change the number of guests), you can do that at least 48 hours before the event date.

Here’s how you can do it easily:

  1. Go to My Bookings
  2.  Click pencil icon to edit
  3. Make the required changes
  4. Preview changes
  5. Confirm

That’s all!  An updated booking request will be sent to the host again and they will respond to it within 24 hours.

We also recommend to message the host about the changes to avoid any confusion.

Please note: You can make changes/reschedule your active booking up to 48 hours prior to the event date. Afterward, it depends on the host’s decision to accept the change request or not.

Any agreement outside the HopLocal chatbox might not be considered ‘valid’.
