You had a change of plans and cannot make it to your event at the planned date and time?
No worries! If you want to reschedule the date and time of your event (or change the number of guests), you can do that within 24 hours of making the booking, and up to 48 hours before the event date.
Here’s how you can do it easily:
- ‘Decline’ the existing active booking.
- Message the host via HopLocal chatbox and agree on a new date/time.
- Make a fresh booking as per the agreed date/time.
As host would knew about the changes, they will accept your booking request and your new booking will be confirmed.
In case there’s no agreement, you can then cancel your booking.
Please note that if you cancel a booking after having rescheduled it, the cancellation & refund policy will apply based on the date of the original booking.
